Check out some timber boat building sites/forums, I saw a steam bender on utube on a wooden boat restoration. Might give you some ideas of how to get the best result.

Thanks for the link. That looks like a nice set up. I'm going to Walmart to see if I can find what I need there, but if I don't like what I see, I just might order that kit.

Everything is done on the roof except the shingles on the onion dome. I need to start steaming as soon as possible. I have plenty of other things to do, so it's not a panic just yet, but I'm running out of time quickly.

I agree with Sld. It is screaming for some copper. But I am anxious to see the steamed shingles installed.
