Wish I'd been there, Dozernut; sounds like good eating. To tell the truth I've never eaten snapping turtle, although I've made turtle soup with what we used to call "soft shelled" turtles; brown, sharp nosed turtles we used to occasionally catch when fishing for catfish. I'm sure the snapping turtle would be good, too. And I've always liked frog legs even though I very seldom get them anymore.

While I've never had the chance to try frog legs, I have had fried snapping turtle.Really good eating. Tastes better than chicken.

You guys reminded me that I haven't had frog legs for 15 years. Man, those are good.

BTW... They taste just like...frog legs!

We used to get them at the same place we got perogies.
