Cracked steering wheel

Within the first couple of years of owning my RX the steering wheel developed a crack, it was replaced under warranty. Now about 6 years later this one has 2 cracks, I believe what happens is the resin shrinks and causes it to separate. I'm in the process of attempting a repair with stick epoxy. Anyone else with this issue?

How is the steering wheel made? Many steering wheels are based on a ring of steel. The plastic or resin simply coats it. If that's how yours is made you could just get a lace on steering wheel cover to hide it.

It's resin over a steel ring like most others are made. I would rather not use a cover, pretty simple to fill in with epoxy.

I had issue of the cracking 2016 and they replaced under warranty. Said it was a supplier issue but was supposed to hAve been fixed. No issues since and mine is out in the weather all the time
