Cracked instrument console

Anyone ever run into this problem?

In that second pic. Joe looks like something banged it with that crease next to the crack.

Don't know how old your tractor is, but that looks like a job for your soldering iron. Drill a small (1/16th) hole at the terminus of the crack( to prevent it from growing) and thermal weld the crack

I'm not sure exactly what happened there. The tractor was at the dealer a couple months ago, so maybe it happened while it was there. I went to see the dealer and ordered another console under warranty. The tractor is a 14 with 50 hours. Just very odd at how it is cracking.

When you re install, look at how it is supported in the area. Maybe there is a ridge, or it is left to flex which is bad. Good luck. BTW - do not over tighten the mounting bolts either. On my Bobcat I used the soft Locktight and just snugged it up.
