I was wondering what y'all used to keep your cowboy boots from falling over? I was hanging mine but that is causing friction with my Bride who needs more closet space.
Anyone got anything that works good for keeping them from falling over while sitting?

Try standing in them instead of sitting so much? :)

Try kicking them off in the corner. :p They can't fall over if they are layin about.
Actually your boots must have a very soft upper ?

stuff a pool noodle in them

perhaps this is a question for the Texans ? per capita they probably have the most cowboy boots ... I only have 2 pairs (one nice pair, one well used yard pair)

I know that a 'good' equestrian shop/saddlery has spring-loaded, long-boot inserts. They're like a shoe-tree but for the shaft of the boot.

Googling "long-boot inserts" brings up some examples, perhaps "cowboy boot inserts" would do the same in your area?

Well, fall over might to the wrong words, but I would like them not to wrinkle at the lower end of the shaft. I quit buying Acme boots back in the late 70's when a shoe salesman gave me (in writing) a one year guarantee of a pair of Tony Lama's. I was going through a set of soles in 6 months, and by the time the second sole wore out, the uppers weren't worth putting soles on. I still have that pair of bull hide Tony Lama boots, and they are still wearable (but not to Church)
Natoma and Lucchese are the others.
