I've been told by some that the counterweight in this picture may have come off of a crane or some other large piece of construction equipment. I'm curious if anyone recognizes it and knows what it came off of? I had 13 of these that average 1140 lbs. a piece. They're stackable and have holes to bolt them together. I'm wanting to sell and replace with lead weights, but can't find any info out on these. Thanks for any help.

Sure, they are from an 1155 whatchamacallit!
Sorry, no help here, but I sure would like to have a few of them around.

You could join the heavy equipment forum and ask there.

Cranes

If you don't mind splitting one, I could use the top 1/3 of one weight. :)

I haven't seen one of those in YONKS! Good eye, Rustyiron.

I'm eagerly awaiting all of the 1155 stories & tales that will soon flood this thread.
