Yep... been there and done that... every roof I have in Oakland has at least one slug in it... none have gone through.

I did have a very strange incident awhile back... the detached garage had a fist size hole through the roof, felt and 1/2" CDX plywood... it was just punched through like a spear.

Couldn't figure it out and my pilot friend said the house is on approach to Oakland International and it could have been a chunk of ice falling from a plane...

BLUE ICE! Yes, I'm familiar with it. I worked at the airport for 6 years and saw chunks of it a few times a year.

Anyone familiar with the TV evangelist Lester Sumerall? He was a local guy with TV stations around the country. Anyhow, he had a small plane. Then moved up to a Cessna Citation. Then bought a used Falcon 20 off of the San Diego Chargers. It had a little purple lightening bolt on the tail. It also had an on-board potty that we had to empty occasionally.

We'd open the access door, take off the pipe cover, hook up the honey wagon hose, pull the chain and yell "Holy Sh**!!"

I do think waiting out Covid-19 is vastly different from urban to rural...

Business are already getting hit... the chamber said it is a double whammy... order closed as non-essential and prime pickings for burglars...

Noticed Stop Signs and Signals tend to more of a suggestion since Shelter in Place started... blowing though without a thought and speeders on the freeway fly by...

If this keeps up no way law enforcement can keep up.

I absolutely do think so too. Glad to be living away from suburbia and the city especially now in my later life. Way too many people are too dependent on others especially in the cities. It creates a society that is easily steered. I don't think this is healthy in the long run as people are not thinking for themselves as much as they should and are not prepared when a situation like this occurs.

Bondoed over several metal front door holes from bullets with the slug in the wall.

The last slug went through a window screen, through a window, across the room through drywall, out drywall and imbedded in the hollow core sliding closet door.

Growing up you learn early to wait it out in the bath tub when you hear gunshots... safest place to be down low with cast iron around you.

I've seen cars stop in an intersection and empty a clip at an apartment house... while I'm 60' away mowing the lawn.

Made the news several times when shotguns were used... lots of holes to fill!

Umm... Ah... I'd just like to emphasise that the holes in my roof were a result of creosote from my wood-heater chimney rusting out along the grooves of my 'tin' (colorbond) corrugated roof.

No random or deliberate firearm discharges were involved.

It was in Florida. Watch till the very end. There is another oriental woman touching every computer on display. The clerk is questioning her. It is obvious she is doing it on purpose. That is someone that needs to be looked into by law enforcement. Should probably be deported.
