First reported case of Coronavirus in Texas 3/4/2020 - Fort Bend County. Now 13 states reported infected.
I suspect that in the not so distant future, every state and territory will have confirmed cases. The key here is how they are dealt with and contained and how if the population actually practices proper hygiene.
I can't remember where i saw this, but it indicated the current influenza infections are dramatically dropping. Probably because of the change in people's behavior. E.g. staying home, washing hands and not licking door knobs.

Italy to close all schools and universities
My daughter is at the University of Washington. She thinks they are getting ready to close. It will be interesting to see how much education can be done on the internet. My wifes company is trying to figure out if their infrastructure will work if everyone has to work from home.

A protective measure I haven't seen mentioned: don't use the blower hand dryer in a restroom.

I've never used them anyways. The way those really work is by getting people to wipe their hands on their pants.
A New Hampshire man who this week tested positive as the first case of coronavirus in the state is bringing self-quarantine to the forefront after he ignored medical advice to stay home.
Instead of avoiding contact with others – as he was advised to do after he visited the doctor Friday, with a fever and respiratory problems – that same night the man went to a mixer for medical workers and students near Dartmouth’s campus, The New York Times reported.
On Monday, the man, who works at the Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center in Lebanon, N.H., tested positive for the virus and this week a second patient who had “close contact” with him tested positive as well and is in self-quarantine.
The man is now under official order from New Hampshire’s health commissioner to stay home.

The Chinese would likely have executed him....
If the jerk infected someone I loved....well...never know what might happen.
Was at Wallyworld today and saw 2 gals with masks on. Looked kind of stupid, ordinary particle masks that do nothing to protect anything except to contain you own bad breath... Must have been a fashion statement....lol
Or... they were being respectful to your health and didn't want to infect you with something. :confused3:
