I've done the corn in the microwave before, but the removal is something I haven't seen......

Thanks Bird!!

Definitely something to try next season. Certainly would be an easy way to enjoy corn on the cob while camping since my RV has a microwave. Trying to boil water etc would be too much of a pain in close quarters.

I thought about waiting until next season. This year I bought a lot of corn for 10 to 15 cents an ear, but of course we like it anytime and I wanted to try that way of shucking it, so I paid 50 cents an ear yesterday.

Yeah well, I grow a super sweet variety and I find other corns to just be a disappointment after eating that one so I will have to wait like 10 more months :D
