SWMBO putting out fresh hummer chow. Had about a dozen of them but hard to count when there is a dog fight going on for a seat at the buffet.

Those little things are something else. I have one that, if I let the feeder run out, will find me in my yard and buzz me, 6" from my nose, until I fill the feeder again.

My will hover in the window staring at us if the feeder is low or I don't put new food in after a while.
When I was late putting the feeder out, it would stop by and hang by where the feeder should be.

We were in Stillwater last week. 107F one day. 98-99 all the rest. We saw a lot of flowers like that. The ground in my kid's yard was still soft due to recent rain, I guess.

Very close to Mt. Mitchell on the Blue Ridge parkway. As close as I live (40min or so) it's a shame I don't go more often.

Thumb in the corner, but I go over this pass every day to work. Some mornings I get to see this lake of fog down in the
valleys. Phone cam doesn't do it justice.

Not a good pic but for those who don't live in mountains as air hits and goes over it compresses and forms clouds. This is Celo Knob just next to Mt. Mitchell.

Yeah it's still there. I've never been in though. Figured it was a tourist trap and food wasn't much.
