Assuming you are directing this towards snymat68, to which I would agree.

Indeed I was. Misstep seems to be the word of the week here in my house. Knock on wood!

Anyone else have nature pictures to post? I enjoy seeing them and it would be cool to keep this thread going.

Would pictures of some pallets in a field qualify for keeping it going?:mur::hissyfit::duh::stirthepot:

Here's some I've posted before, from last winter. Ice & an unusual rock formation (for scale, you could park a Civic on top of the rock) in SE Ohio.

I like this one.

It's Pollinator CRP. Blooming plants all Summer. Supposed to help the declining bee populations. I have 55 acres of it. I'll dig up some more pics.

Is that one pic the Great Sand Dunes in Colorado?

I think so. It was taken on a trip to Colorado a couple years ago. There was some story about the sand being carried by the river, the wind blowing it back, and the cycle repeating.

The top one was taken in St. Thomas USVI; Magen's beach. The rest were taken in our back yard.

I have family at Alamosa, 20 miles from there.

Actually the sand is wind blown and drops to the ground as the winds lift over tbe mountains in the background. The unique situation earned it National Park status.

I flew past Mt Denali twice in a C-130. Altimeter said 18K ft. Peak was above us.
