Well guys i have been bitching about having to set on my tractor with it idling from 3 to 5 min to cool the turbo down after using it hard. My son got tird of hearing me complaining and built me a timer.
Bought The timer from Documentation , this is a programable timer and good for 5A and that is all that was need on my XG3135 tractor, i used a relay and taped the timer to the relay when i installed. You can use a button switch or a spring loaded rocker switch to activate the timer. I have tested the timer and found out that any safety switch like the seat switch will cancel the timer, how i got past this is i get off the tractor go around the tractor to the ignition switch side mash the rocker switch then turn off the ignition key and timer will run the engine for the time you program in the timer.
On the timer i did not used the blue, white and green. On the relay i did not-use the orange.
Forgot to mention that i used a 5A fuse where i came off the ignition switch for power.

I see the link i posted does not work just do a search for the Timer shop on Amazon

Why do you have to stay in the seat and wait? Seems that you could put it in neutral, set parking brake or whatever and leave the seat. If you can't, I would disable the operator presence switch. Just a minute while I put on my fire retardant suit!

The big trucks have them you can turn the key off lock the doors and walk away and it will shut off in 5 minutes or push the button to shut it right off .. Nice job on the install...........:)

Well without a timer shut off system you dont have a choice, you could let it idle while you do your other chores but then i would forget it and then 1 hr later i might remember so the timer takes care of that it will idle it at a predetermined time to cool the turbo down, why do i need to cool the turbo down after hard use do you know?

The fire retardant suit what what is that about or do you just post crap to try and piss folks off instead of posting something constructive ?

Must be something new.
I've never been around a truck with that setup.

He was not trying to annoy you or anyone. He was acknowledging that his post violates a safety procedure, which a lot of folks on this forum take issue with. Safety items are there for a reason, and it was a round about way of letting everyone know that he is aware his recommendation bypasses safety items that were installed by the manufacturer.
