Considering replacing brakes on B6100

Anyone have any tips on if this is a big job or a matter of remove and replace. I have the adjusters maxed out and still can't stop. Don't usualy go fast enough to get in trouble. But after all the repairs that have been done on this old beast to make it go forward. Might as well make it stop.
