Buying Advice Considering a Ford 2000 Super Dexta

I had an opportunity to test out the tractor and I really like the power and the way it handles, especially compared to other tractors of similar size. I did notice though it has a small leak where the clutch pedal lever goes into the transmission. (I hope I'm describing that correctly). Is this a difficult/costly item to correct?

Also the seller will not budge from $3000. Seems a little high to me, what does everyone else think?

Super dexta is a1964. a local ford tractor took a 1958-1963 regular dexta in on trade and is asking $1900.00 with a freeman loader. Your super looks a little better and has good tires.If it checks ok $ 2500.00 to $2800.00 should be good.

I own a ford 2000 GAS tractor and have had it for 7 year's and it has been a good little tractor i have only had to put new front tires on it the old one's rotted out. I will say this one has been a very reliable tractor.my uncle has a ford 5000 and has had it for 20 plus year's they are just a good make and not hard to get PART'S FOR. HOPE THIS HELP'S
