confused?

Helloooooo I'm new to the forum, although I've been reading it for a couple years. I usually can find what I'm looking for. This one has me confused. I have a 04 Simplicity legacy XL diesel. K92 transaxle. I recently blew a hydro fitting. The main feed line on the trans. A 45ｰ fitting now discontinued, dealer sold me a kit to change it to a 90ｰ and rubber line. Decided to do a fluid and filter change I put an after market filter on I saw on one of the forums. With the exceptions of some tight spaces all went well. When I fired it up (no leaks) the mid implement lift would not move and steering very stiff. The main feed goes to steering and then on to implements. Okay air? I cycled mid cylinder eventually got it working but very slow. Cycled steering off the ground for an hour. (No change) Giving it a day to search and ponder did hydrostatic air purge procedure (helped slightly). Thinking maybe the filter used was incorrect I put the old one back on. (No change) I think it's either air I can't purge or loss of pressure from small line? Not having a pressure gauge or able to get one until Fri, any suggestions?
