Tombo, I believe you can put a L3130 with FEL and BH90 into a 16X8 space. Just get the quick disconnect (skid steer type) bucket and flip 2 handles (30 seconds) and leave the bucket outside. When you are inside swing the backhoe all the way to one side.

On my L5030, FEL and BH, I leave the bucket on (with 6" of teeth protruding) and it fits in 18'.

See if you can rent one of the tractors you are looking at. You may be able to rent from the dealer, or from a local rental yard. That way, you could get an idea of what each size tractor can do. You might not be able to rent the exact model, but should be able to find something comparable.

Another possibility is to go with a dozer crew to do the immediate work you need, and then get a tractor sized for the cleanup and maintenance work...
