Compact Tractor with factory cab and backhoe

Thanks all for the valuable replies. On to my next question. Someone had mentioned removing the rear window of a factory cab to allow you to swivel seat and utilize backhoe. After looking at all brands I am leaning slightly towards the Mahindras, Max 25, 26XL or 1626. But I'd be curious to know if anyone has removed the rear window on any of these models. It seems like it would be possible. I had thought about calling the dealer, but because I tend to get good responses, thought I'd throw it out here on the forum.

I found some videos online. It looks very easy and made for that purpose. It pops out. It’s not a permanent modification. I’ll see if I can find it.

Edit: Here. KUBOTA BX23S CAB TOUR - YouTube around 4:10. I’m not sure if that is factory cab or the Curtis (aftermarket) cab, but I’m sure the concept is the same.

Please post an example of a factory Kubota tractor with a cab and swivel seat for the backhoe.

BX23S. Factory cab is an option once you go to “build your own.”

The mahindra cabs on something like that are the same on the TYM tractors. Definitely an add on. I looked taking the doors off the Mahindra and TYM, which could be done. Didnt look at the back. Guess it would depend on how the glass was sealed and if the glass is used as support

Curtis makes the Kubota-branded cab for the BX23S. I refrain from using the term "factory" as the cab is installed at the dealer.

Many of the dealer installed cabs don't have AC and they are louder than a factory cab.

Backhoe..yes, love the convenience..paid for..done a lot of work with it, bought it with the tractor purchase ..cheaper by a couple grand than buying it later:thumbsup:
