Colorado wolf reintroduction

When wolves start digging holes in my hay field like groundhogs, I'll shoot them just like I do the groundhogs.

The state has opened a season on these animals to reduce their numbers. It needs to be done. I doubt any of the hunters who harvest one will be eating them. Can't remember the last time I ever read of cat being on the menu.

It's okay, you don't need to understand it.
…So you want to reduce the number of them around you, by bringing one full time, into your house, dead.
There’s a kind of a funny ironic way of viewing it, if you think about it😂

Wolves are like nuclear bombs: Its cool to have one, unless its a live.

No, I want a mount to go along with all of the other mounts I have. Because I enjoy having dead animal mounts in my house. The state wants the numbers reduced so that they don't hurt the turkey, deer, and rabbit population too much.

Funny that.
When there were no people around to balance the various animals it happened naturally.
And successfully for millennia without interference from some slack jawed paper pusher.
Now they turn nature on it's head and lay blame on a single species.
I would say **** sapiens.

It will still happen naturally but it's not a good death. Ever seen deer become so over populated that they have no food to eat and starve to death? I think a quick death is a better alternative.

The ecosystem isn’t natural now (not within the bounds of natural variability) and never will be again. Human settlements and infrastructure has changed things such that many natural resources and animal populations require human management to be sustainable over time. Those of us who manage natural resources are well aware of this. It’s a science.
