Where do I begin.....
One of my favorite Elvis songs.

I'm searching too, even though it's not raining today. Back in 1956 and 57, my father and my uncle bought a couple tractors. They knew someone who was a (first FERGUSON, then) Massey Ferguson dealer in either the Glasgow or Bowling Green KEntucky area. When I was buying my MF 150 in 1971, dad suggested going to see his buddy. Instead, I bought from a local dealer. (in Louisville) Now I'm starting to think about restoring dads old Ferguson F-40. I have no clue if the dealer where it was bought still exists. I'd at least like to know the name of that dealer.

So. Anyone here from the Glasgow/Bowling Green area of Ky? (Barren county?) Would you know of a Massey dealer that was around in the 50's through early 70's? (Memory is favoring Glasgow)

Does the public library in that area have the local newspaper on microfilm?
I would check advertisements from tractor dealers in the newspapers for that time period. I'm guessing the ads probably weren't as large and flashy as they are now, but there's probably one out there.
