My Massey 154-4 clutch does not always release when the pedal is pressed. I have taken out all of the linkage slop and it is still the same. So I guess I have no choice but to split it and check over why. But why is it intermittently faulty and then ok. Anyone have a workshop manual for this model? I believe it is actually a Landini 5500 badged as a Massey Ferguson. I have a parts manual that I down loaded off the net for $9.00. The quality is not good but it is readable. I'll try and remember to take a few photos of the work. I will also remove all the panel work and paint it as I do it. It has a lot of rust rather typical of Italian motor vehicles of that period.
