Colleagues,
I am working in an fiat 600 E tractor to adjust the clutch. it grinds when changing speeds. I looked inside, from the side panels and noticed:
1.- There is almost no idle . As soon I press the pedal, the throwout bearing touches the fingers.
2.- BTW, this is double clutch, so when pressing half way, I see transmission plate moving , but the clearance is really small , close to 1/64 (of an inch) and my first question here is if this gap is "normal" or what is the typical separation between plates and disk ?.when pressing full, I see like 1/32
3.- I do have the screws(3) to adjust the fingers on the transmission disk, but doing so, I am not sure if that will increase the separation/clearance
Any comment?

cheers,
martin
