Thanks for the link to the online manuals. It's great to have others to share my enthusiasm for getting a new tractor. I've also been reading the 420 loader manual. I'll probably have them memorized before I get delivery from my dealer. Of course now I'm looking at all the extra stuff I may want to add like a tooth bar and a removable cutting bar. I'm mulling over getting a price on a HD bucket upgrade. I'm still not sure if folding ROPS is standard or optional. That depends on which Deere literature I read. They sure have some discrepencies in the specs they publish. I don't really need it so I take whatever I get.

The folding ROPS is standard now.

Hang in there... /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Mike, you caught my tractor at it's finest moment.
There are times when you wished your tires weren't filled with liquid and you had R1's.

She's at the shop getting her 50 hour service.
Haven't actually seen the bill but they said it was $202.00 over the phone.

Lots of seat time to be had this time of year.
Be safe folks...Kyle

But my R1's AREN'T filled with liquid! And to think I was anxious to fill 'em!

Hi everyone!

My 4310, et al, came on Friday!! Had to travel yesterday, so today was the first time I got to try it out. Ran around with it at first w/ nothing running, then tried out the brush hog. [Sorry, I couldn't wait for the wax job.] Works great. Even found out how to "level ground" with the RC /forums/images/graemlins/crazy.gif.

Let my son TJ (4.5 yo) ride on my lap and steer for a little bit. He calls it the rein-deer tractor.

My friend Tom will be checking out the FEL tomorrow as he is doing some landscape work for me. He was one of the folks that talked me out of the DR.

What's the recommended pixel size & file size for uploaded pix?

I've been lurking here for awhile and haven't been able to sign up due to technical problems. Those problems are now resolved and I want to join this club too! My choice was narrowed down to a NH TC33D and the 4310 and JD won out due to higher loader and 3ph capacity. Both NH and JD dealers were great and it was hard to tell the NH guy he didn't get the sale. The local Kubota dealer was a complete bozo so they were never a factor, and the nearest decent Kubota dealer was too far away for comfort.

My new 4310 with lots of toys, er, working attachments should arrive late next week and I am chomping at the bit to get to work. To keep me busy until then I'm cleaning out the garage to make a good home for it.

My 4310 will come equipped with eHydro, folding ROPS, loaded R4s, spark arrestor, iMatch, DSCValves, 3rd, 4th, and 5ths SCVs, Top and Tilt, 430 loader with HD bucket and cutting edge, BoDozer grapple, Frontier BB1172 box scraper, and MX5 rotary cutter.

I hope you'll accept me as a proud member of Club 4310!

Sounds like a great setup. What is a BoDozer grapple?

Bill

A picture is worth 1000 or more words.

You can check it out at BoDozer Grapple

We're in a heavily forested area and have lots of slash to clean up, and a lot of buried construction debris that I need to dig out and burn. This grapple will help to shake the dirt off of the stuff that gets added to the burn pile.

Yup! 4410s can sign up! The point of Club4310 is to make a statement about the popularity of the 4310. But all MidChassis owners are welcome.

Heck, we even let rancar join /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif. Just NO ORANGE 4310's /forums/images/graemlins/tongue.gif

Gee, that's awfully kind of you Mike. /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif I've felt somewhat left out of all this discussion because of my unfortunate circumstance of owning a 4710, a large chassis compact. But, I'll tell you what. How about we all get together for a tractor pull. You guys bring your 4310s and I'll bring my 4710. Let's see what we can do. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif But, please don't let that guy in who turbocharged his JD110 lawn tractor by turning it into a diesel. He may beat the pants off all of us. /forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif

Mike

Another newbie 4310'er to add to your list. I've got a few hrs battling vine maples so far (I think we've bonded).

Thanks to all for being here. This is an enjoyable forum.

Count Me In!

4310 MFWD with loadmatch and speedmatch, 430 FEL, MX5.

What a great community to learn from and get assistance from when needed.

My 4310 is in the shop this week and I MISS IT! (Came with a very slow oil leak and decided they should fix it.) I had to carry pallets around to get ready for a hay delivery and I have promised myself my manual heavy load carrying days are over since I now have the FEL.

I LOVE my MX5 cutter! Wow. I didn't know a rotary cutter could work so well. /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif

Hey, welcome aboard! can you give any feedback on Speedmatch? Have you used it in the barn or other tight places?

Is the MX5 wider than your tires?

Hey, remnant, how's the skid plates look? Did you install them yourself? I think I am going to go that route...

/ Club4310 #79
Re: Belly Armor

I let them install it before delivery. Just plates and bolts though, for any one wanting to do it themselves.
Here's a shot of right side (I hope).
