Found this on you tube and is a great way to clean
out recessed areas around zerk fittings.
A few squirts of WD40 afterwards makes the
next greasing easier.

Always used a stick. Now see a better way. Maybe cut some teeth on the tubing for the lower ones packed with mud? Good tip.

I use q-tips, quick easy, double sided, cheap, disposable, no cutting, etc.

I just hit them with compressed air.

I also keep caps on ever one of the zerks.... pop it off, grease, put back on.... easy peasy

Yep, caps keep them clean.
