Sprayer Cleaning Sprayer Tank

/ Cleaning Sprayer Tank #2
When it gets cleaned I use ammonia. I will wash it out going from Gyposhate to broadleaf herbicide but in reverse I just flush with water .

Water flush is all that is necessary with most chemicals.

I just flush the system with water most times, but occasionally add a squirt of dish detergent.

Guess that I put about ten to 20 gallons of water in it and then run the pump until it's dry. About half of that will be through my wand, then the rest through the sprayers.

I do the same as Eddie-fill my 25 gallon tank 1/3 to have full and let it pump through broadcast and wand.

TSC and other places will sell a tank cleaner to neutralize any chemical. In the past I have just rinsed with water but I bought the cleaner this year now that I'm switching between Gyposhate and Trimec. I have not used it yet, but I saw it for cheap and I believe one jar will outlast me.

Mine has a turbo "mixing mode" So a shot of dishwashing soap - ten gallons of hot water - let it "turbo" for ten minutes or so. DO NOT forget to leave lid off - I shut it down when suds start to overflow
