Snow Attachments clamp on snow plow

/ clamp on snow plow #11
I hav a plow VERY simuliar to that particular blade on my Yamaha Rhino The 6 ft version. We get alot of snow in the Md./Wv mountains where I live and I was also concerned about the height of the blade. But since i bought it for the light snowfalls I wasn't too worried about it. ( I use a 3pt blower and backhoe for the big snows )
Well, I have used my Rhino for plowing ever since. I will plow deep 18" snow without a problem because the shape of the plow doesn't allow it to go over the top. It just rolls the snow over until it goes off to the side.
If you are interested i would not hesitate to use it in the deepest of snows. It works great. I think you would only be limited by the traction of your tractor.
The price is pretty high though. Why not just buy the blade from Cycle country and weld up a mounting system to the FEL ?

The Snow Champ looks like nice, easy on/easy off item. I would wonder if you can really clamp it in place so it wouldn't move. There are so many old plows, rusted and dented that could be fabbed to use on a tractor I would have to think long and hard about something $1000 - 1100.........as well as getting an ok to buy it! At that price it would seem you could find a snowblower some where that would do a better job.

That is about what I paid for the 42" snow blower attachment for my lawn tractor. It would have been nice for my loader but I can find a 6 foot plow off a compact truck cheaper I thing with hydraulics and springs. It is a great idea though

That is a little pricey!

I have an old Snow Bear electric snow plow that I am thinking about mounting in my FEL. Angle is changed manually and it is 7' with mushrooms under it (I have never used them). The wench used to raise and lower it will not get mounted - no need. The extra weight for the loader looks to be about 150# max. Looks like only a couple of bolts through the bucket will do it.

Total cost, nothing. Just using something that was not used anymore.

Call Earth and Turf New Holland Pa. They make the best clamp on blade out there ! 888-693-2638
