Just wondering if anyone knows if the ck 30 has a built in engine block heater plug? I gave it a good look but could not find anything. Jake

Kind of hard to understand why it would void warranty on a Kioti when Bobcat offers block heater kits as an option through their parts system. Same engine and manufacture.
Thats BS
Kioti has given my name out to other dealers in the past to supply them with block heaters.
I have installed tons of them, sold tons of them, and continue to install them.
I'm quite sure they said that because you next question to them would have been...What is the part #? And they wouldn't have an answer.
I wont argue with you, i just wish either my dealer or Kioti told me this before i spent $150.00 on 3 glue on heaters. makes me kinda mad. What is the difference if you remove a freeze plug or hack into a radiator hose?
Federal Warranty Laws
1. The Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act (15 U.S.C. 2302(C))
This federal law regulates warranties for the protection of consumers. The essence of this
law concerning aftermarket parts is that a engine manufacturer may not condition a
written or implied warranty on the consumers using parts or services which are identified
by brand, trade, or corporate name (such as the vehicle makers brand) unless the parts or
service are provided free of charge. The law means that the use of an aftermarket part
alone is not cause for denying the warranty. However, the law's protection does not
extend to aftermarket parts in situations where such parts actually caused the damage
being claimed under the warranty. Further, consumers are advised to be aware of any
specific terms or conditions stated in the warranty which may result in its being voided.
The law states in relevant part:
哲o warrantor of a consumer product may condition his written or implied warranty of
such product on the consumers using, in connection with such product, any article or
service (other than article or service provided without charge under the terms of the
warranty) which is identified by brand, trade or corporate name.... (15 U.S.C. 2302(C)).

I'd like to find the part number for the block heater. Anyone had success with finding that? Also, how bad is the installation on it? Thanks!!!!
My dealer installed block heater for me. He did initally express some concern of knocking out a frost plug (potential for leakage, etc.)but I left it up to him to decide between an inline coolant heater or the block heater and it showed up with the block heater. I haven't used it yet or even looked to see where it actually is, but I guess I'll check it for leakage next time out.I contacted Kioti about my adding a internal block heater thru a freeze plug on my DK45, and they told be that it would void the warranty. Thye did tell me i could add either a magnetic unit OR a glue on type heater, but NOT a freeze block model.
They did not specify why. I asked my dealer about that, and he also told me that they dont make a freeze block heater suitable for the DK series.
I dont know how this relates to the ck series, but you may want to contact Kioti USA and ask.
They are real good about responding to emails.
Hmmmm. I've emailed both and haven't found a part number from Kioti or Bobcat. Seems a bit odd. None the less, does anyone know what size the lower radiator hose is? Maybe we just go this way on his. I'm finding some 600w heaters that way and I know that most of the block ones are just 400w.
Thanks!
It's a 2010 CK30 with the hydro trans. Any help you can give would be wonderful!!!!!
Thanks!!!!
