This past summer I offered to do some work for some neighbors. They are very good friends and when I got my tractor I had promised to do a "little" project for them. Well when the day finally arrived, I drove my Kubota over to their house intending to clear a circular driveway for them... about a half days work. Well.... after talking with my friend for some time in the backyard, the plan changed from a circular driveway to 2 ponds and a 150ft. connecting river. His wife was in on the conversation, but clearly not as enthused about the idea as her husband. Reality hits when the piles of dirt start taking over the once serene and peaceful backyard. The four hours of work that I planned on turned into about 3 weekends for me and them hiring contractors that were there everyday for about 3 months. It all started with a little conversation in the backyard and then some holes in the ground. So for their Christmas gift this year we felt it was appropriate to document this event with a photo that I printed up 11x17 and had if framed and matted. I am sure that this is what his wife visualized every night while her backyard was "under construction".
Actually I have to give credit to TBN for the idea. Tonester had a post earlier this year that had multilpying tractors.
Thought I'd share.
