heres what i knowyou can pull with the MX5100 HST.you can pull an 8ft disc cutter with or without a caddy.an ive been told you could pull a 9ft on a caddy with it since all the cutter weight is on the caddy.

I hear you man. I just left a mans house who sold me a caddy. and he had a L 4800 kubota which is a tad smaller and he was doing just that. And he is a custom Baler. Im trying to insert a pic right now

I don't know what a new one runs but I'm guessing way more than a $1000! That one looks pretty nicely done too.

A new one is close to 4 grand, And up beside this one they look like they were made in China. This baby is heavy. You cant even lift the Tongue by hand. I can use it as a pattern and build them to sale. The old man who built it has passed on. Its one of the first. I think its heavier than a 10 foot vicon mower. Im adding a 8 foot Krone Mower straight from the factor after a fresh coat of John Deer green the Caddy should look nice Behind my Shiny Little Kubota lol.

So you're going with an 8' Krone then? I've never been around their stuff but I've heard very good things.
