Chinese Dozer problems

Hi, just hoping to gain some insight into the problems with my Chinese dozer.
I believe it is a 2002 DH320RT by Guilin. 2 problems:

1) Transmission fluid streams out of a small hole on the bottom of the starter housing. It stops after machine is at operating temp... This is a nuisance issue as I maintain proper fluid level. I'm tying to determine how much of the machine need to be torn down to locate the bad seal, any ideas?

2) Dozer will not crawl and makes a grinding sound if put in any gear and does not matter if clutch position. I'm trying to determine if it is transmission or final drive, any ideas?

Welcome DozerPaul.
You say "transmission fluid", what exactly does that mean? I hope you don't mean ATF!

Do you have a hydraulic shuttle clutch? We can go from there.

There are two final drives; left and right hand. There is one pinion drive (ring and pinion), it is connected to the transmission output shaft.

Do you have any manuals?

Hi Bob, thanks for your reply... no, not ATF I should of said fluid... It does have a hydraulic shuttle clutch... My machine looks exactly like the machine you have pictured... The dozer is 100 mile from my home on a property we have in western Mass... I was planning to bring it back for repair this summer.
