Chimney Liner Question\'s
I like to do things myself but, I thought I would let a pro place a stainless liner in my chimney for a new pellet stove that is until I took a half day from work to wait for him to see what he needs to do the job didn't want a quote or nothing just the job done and he didn't show. So I'm going to do it myself but have a couple questions <ul type="square"> [*]1. Will the attached diagram work as far as the bends in the liner? [*]2. Installation guide calls for 3" for up to 15' EVL (equivalent vent length) mine is 19' EVL so it recommends 4" vent but, 4" won't fit between the existing heat tubes. Anyone see using 3" a problem or if the 4"can be ovaled to fit? [*]3. What is the blanking plate used for that needs to be fabricated to seal the firebox off from the flue with a hole only large enough for the vent to pass through? [/list]
I tried to let a local "pro" do this but........
Thanks in advance /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif
