I priced a new bx 2350 today with R4 tires and FEL for $10500 out the door and he said if I wanted the 54" Mid mower add $1600. Is this a good price for a new machine??? By the way this is a great site with a lot of great info.
Thanks, Kade
Sounds about right. Not a firesale price, but seems quite fair. Certainly not high.
I'd consider the 60" mower, unless you have some reason not to. The tractor can easily handle it and 6" is, well, 11% more than you had. there are benefits...search for some past threads...the issue has been discussed in detail. Probably only a couple hundred bucks difference.
I ended up and got it today. Total with fel, and 60" mid mower was $12000.00 and I could not be happier with the purchase. I didn't think it would be as stought as it is and it mows grass as good as my M60 cub tank zero turn.
12000.00 for a BX2350 with FEL and MMM is a great price at least up here in New England
Prices I have been qutoted here are 12500.00,12800.00,13200.00
I think thats the setup I am going for. I was thinking BX24 but thats alot of money for a small hoe, although it would be nice to have. Looking around my property to do any real projects I will need to rent a larger machine and then just cleanup with a BX2350. This will also free up some money for toys for the BX2350.
This will tone down the payment quite a bit also, I used to smoke alot but not 400 plus dollars a month worth. You see this is where my payment money is coming from.
One month, two weeks, 21 hours, 0 minutes and 23 seconds. 1570 cigarettes not smoked, saving $353.06. Life saved: 5 days, 10 hours, 50 minutes.
If you give up drinking at some point, you can add that to the monthly tally and justify a BH6000. Can't see anything is lost to the BX24...add it anytime you want.
Congrats on the not smoking thing. Well worth it, as you can see.
Thanks Kieth
Thats what I figured if I really wanted it later I could do the woods hoe.As for the drinking I don't even do that enough to say so. I haven't even been able to chase the ladies for 35 years That reminds me I need to get my little bride something for the weekend 29 years
So let me sum this up can't smoke, don't drink(much) can't chase the ladies, put 2 kids through college paid for a house(almost9 payments left) Don't I deserve a little itty bitty tractor?
One month, two weeks, two days, 20 hours, 58 minutes and 37 seconds. 1640 cigarettes not smoked, saving $368.80. Life saved: 5 days, 16 hours, 40 minutes.

Congratulations! I smoked for about 47 years (a pipe the first 5, then cigarettes) and had my last smoke July 11 of last year (I haven't calculated it as close as you have). Now if I could just get my bride of 42 years to quit smoking . . . . but at least when I quit smoking, she quit smoking in the house and very seldom in the car. I'm more than a little skeptical as far as any health benefits of quitting, but it does save money and keep the house and car cleaner.
