Should the check chains be set snug or tight or loose when the various attachments are used? Or does it vary with the implement or conditions?
a. Rear Blade b. Plow c. Boom Pole d. CarryAll

But right now, I'm going to be pulling a small wagon (4 wheels) with some kids on a hayride. The field is kinda bumpy and not always level. Will be using the Kubota BX2660.

There has been a lot of debate on this subject on TBN. A search may turn up some threads.

In general, most folks leave the ground engaging implements, including mowers, a bit loose in case something solid is struck.

Other things, like a boom, carryall, wagon, chipper, etc. fairly tight.

Using a 3 PH with a wagon it should be tight. Remember there is no down pressure with a 3PH but it should not matter with a wagon - a trailer is another story.

Thanks, GW. I'm in a hurry today and have to ask the question while I think of it. I like the search function but think that you have already answered all the questions.:)
