Have you ever thought that boating might not be 'your' thing ??

Having grown up in around boats, worked on commercial vessels, built and sailed a 20' sloop, a 30' cruising catamaran as well the trimaran that got trashed, I think I have some credentials. However, the underlying principle of a disaster no longer waiting for a place to happen applies more to boating than most other things I can imagine. I have yet to meet anyone, including highly experienced sailors, who had not had bad experiences of some kind.
