eBay/Craigslist Cheap tractors on EBAY?????

What gives? This is just one example on ebay. As advertised, it will ship worldwide, free shipping, buy it now for 3,000 USD. If this is true, why aren't we all buying these cheap brand-newish tractors, can anyone explain.

Remember the saying, "if it sounds to good to be true, it generally is"? You or anyone should be able to figure out that is a rip off, plain and simple.

They are hijacking people's accounts without them realizing, hence their 100% feedback rating. When I see these tractors I email the person whose account it is to let them know and then the auction gets pulled right away. Notice these scammers are asking you to email them directly at some other email account like yahoo? One night though I watched the bidders play with the scammer and they ran one of those TLBs to over half a million dollars.

If you'll notice, the same Kubota tractor picture comes up every day. These are 7 day auctions, not 1 day.

I can usually go into the tractor area and find 10 or more tractors that are scams. I report them to ebay, they go away in a few hours of the reports.

A few of us have noticed that one and the weird part was that the winning bidder the first time around gave positive feedback and the seller gave it to him also. Not sure what the deal is on that one. I had thought maybe something had come up that kept the buyer from being able to pay for it and they just decided to leave each other positive feedback anyway. But, if it is up again I don't know what to say.

I've described this before but what the heck:

Long ago I bid an ebay item and soon saw many competing bids from only two other people. I sensed I was being shilled so I looked at the feedback for all three.

All used the same ISP and two had created ebay accounts within minutes of each other. Many of their auctions had been won by one another. On their earliest auctions, positive feedback had been exchanged within 5 minutes of the auction close, saying prompt payment and speedy delivery. Either they lived down the hall from one another or more likely, were the same person shilling his auctions to raise the price and inflate his feedback.

Buyer beware ....

I watched a bidder on an old farm truck I was interested in get shilled and shy away. I ended up sniping it an getting a pretty good deal out of it. I did confront the seller (a car dealer) about it though and it was one of those "uh..." moments. In regards to the $3,000 tractor stuff I thought they were just fishing for active email accounts, I guess someone out there is sending them money..
