I need to pick up a pair of 16.9 x 30 R1 tires. Anyone have a recommendation for the best/cheapest place to get them? Maybe an 800 number I can call or a website I can visit?

Be careful what you buy. Several years ago I replaced the factory R1 front tires on my JD870. They were the same manufacturer, size and style as the original tires. I think a had gotten a little over 1000 hours on the original fronts. Replaced the fronts with what I thought was an identical tire. I got less than 500 hours out of the replacement tires. After they were worn out I replaced them with a different brand name tire same style. They had 500 hours on them and still looked almost new. To this day I do not know what the difference was between the factory tires and the second set I replaced them with was. All that I know is they were shot in no time and the money was wasted. Since then I am somewhat cautious about replacement tractor tires. Just make sure you know what you are getting.

Sincerely, Dirt
