Cheap firearms ??????

Really planned on carrying it more but it replaces my leatherman on my belt and I use my leatherman way to much to give it up.

I had the same issue... I just moved my leatherman/mini-mag light holster to the other (left) side... Gotten used to the new configuration.

I have an old 22 Glenfield auto rifle, it's 46 years old, shoot it more than the 10/22 or 39A($100 A piece) & almost forgot my Mark II Ruger that usually spends time on the tractor or Gator around the farm.
Man, i love the old guns.

Seems there are still a lot of the old .22s around. I know my Dad took good care of his guns; they were almost a necessity of life and even though they were cheap by today's standards, they weren't then. My old pre-war Remington single shot is deadly accurate, and my Brother's family still has Dad's old Model 12 shotgun that he bought in the late 30's. Incidentally, before and during WWII he was Superintendent of a limestone aggregate plant, and guys who worked there were always needing extra money for something. Consequently, he never bought a gun new in his life.

Rural King has the Philippines made 38 Special on sale for $199.99. I have looked at them before and they looked good, get good reviews, and would seem to be a great tractor gun. I wouldn't cry as much if I lost it as I would my $700+ Smith & Wesson.

Anybody have one?

It sounds like it's time for a salvage dive. Offer to pick up the tab at a local dive shop and you might get them back. Guns survive short immersions just fine. Spritz them with WD-40 as soon as they get into the air.

I rather doubt the "accidently boat overturn" that these guys are stating. Likely just a disclaimer to owning any guns. After all, who carries that many guns in their boat?

So, you're gaffing a 6 1/2' tarpon with one hand and holding your piece in the other and he flips your 15' Bass-Tracker before you can deliver a 'finisher'. For a few seconds, you're not paying attention to what's in either hand.

In your struggle to get your foot-gear off and stay afloat you bump both Velcro straps loose and lose the backup that was on your left leg. That's two arms lost, right there.

The AKM by the helm station and a dozen 20-rounders full of APs (uh, pirates .. hel-lOo) go down with the ship. The AKM's lanyard slips off of the throttle binnacle and it is not recovered with the boat, so three now. eek

Well, either that or you're out for 'gators', so you take your pieces off to wade in and untangle a line and a nasty 11-footer leaps into your jon-boat and takes her down with sheer body weight in waters you wouldn't swim in.

(To make matters worse you also lose all 22 nutria tails (at $5/per, bounty) and come up way short on the helo ride back to the marina.)

Where are these made? Outside Hecho en USA, there are not many places I want my guns made. I have a weakness for quality guns. Even plinkers.
