I got the new Mobley on the new 20.00 plan. Mine does shut off after a few minutes of inactivity. Tried going into the power saving settings to change to 2 hours but cannot find a power saving tab in settings. One of the websites suggested a auto reset power plug but those look like they need to be connected to a router. Looked into connecting a router and i think most people were using a usb port on the Mobley to connect to their router. My new Mobley does not appear to have a USB port. I tried prying up that area next to the reset button to see if there is a port there but it wont lift up. It still will work for what I need so I am happy for now.

There is a sticker over the USB Port on the Mobley, it's on the side. I suppose they could have changed them though.

I guess you went to 192.168.1.1. Here is a snip from when I got mine on the original plan back in April 2017.

Click Settings, Advanced and Power Save:

Then they added No Time Out:

Then they removed No Time Out:

I left mine on 30 minutes, and it never times out :thumbsup: .

I logged onto the Mobley with my phone. went to http://attwifimanager. logged in as attadmin as the instructions say. The screen that comes up is similar to the left side of yours only mine has : "Connection Settings", Wi-Fi settings, Messages, and Other Settings as tabs. Under "Other Settings" the only two tabs are Login and About Your Mobile Hotspot.
I tried 192.168.1.1 and it was the same.

Update. Borrowed my wife's tablet and logged onto the Mobley and was able to get to the same settings as displayed by Xfaxman. Got the Power Save changed to 2 Hours and saved.

Update No. 2 - Got more forceful with the cover over the area of the USB port and it peeled up and revealed the port. Thanks again!

This is the USB Cover; get a small jeweler screwdriver and peel it out.

I have been kicking myself for not getting in on the deal the first time around. Still watch this thread to poor salt on the wound or get justification for not doing it by reading of it's passing. Saw this morning that it was back and placed my order. Thanks for the update!

Buddy of mine is attempting to get this deal right now.

I told him he to get the mobley only and not sign up for the plans that show up, he then needed to call in to get the "Car Connect" plan. So without missing a beat, he immediately goes to the website and signed up for one of the plans i warned him about. Now he's going to work on canceling the plan, but still get the mobley. Time will tell.

Used it a few days now. The default settings had it shutting off every 30 minutes. I did get it changed to 2 hours and it does in fact shut off at 2 hours even if i am using it. Bought a wireless travel router and ordered this Auto reset power plug for the Mobley.

Looks like I can log it into my router and any time it loses the internet connection, it will shut power off to the plug for a few moments and then power it back up.

Getting it activated was annoying. The sim card that was shipped in the Mobley did not match what they assigned to it. 3 calls to AT&T Tech Support and each time no one knew what the Mobley was and would connect me to a different department and get the same result. The last guy I spoke with did not know what a Mobley was but did know what a hot spot was and and how to deal with it. He said my sim was locked and I needed a new sim. Went to the AT&T store near me the next day and they were able to assign a new sim to me and that had me going in about half an hour.
