Wheelhorse Charger
I'm having a debate whether or not to cut my ties to my beloved Wheel Horse.
Machine has always run great untill not long ago she lost spark.

The engine is a 1969 K301 S. Serial # SE9018430 Spec # 47147 C.
Tractor is 1968 Model # 1-7235 Serial# 493027.

Of course it's Breakerless ignition with the odd shaped coil.
I haven't completed my diagnosis but I'm pretty convinced it's the coil.

Does anyone know where I can purchase a new or good coil for a reasonable price? My budget for toys and tools isn't as good as it used to be.

If I would decide to sell this treasured possesion.......What price range would I be looking at?
I have a mower deck and 2 snow plow blades for it.

The only other problem I ever had was it's a little finecky in reverse (hydro).
Probably just a stickey spool.

Please help, I really don't want to get rid of her, We've been through alot over many years.

You can get a coil at any auto parts store. I don't know about the strange coil you have now because all of my Kohler coils look just like any other car coil. I think a coil may go for $30 or $40.
