I have a similar post under the Kubota section. For all those who like to stretch their maintenance intervals, check this out. Kubota B2630 with 256 hrs. This excess sealant (I think that's what it is) was in one of my hydraulic filters. Lots of it! It had effected steering effort, which is what led me to change the filter. I had been operating the tractor on a pretty steep slope, running a wood chipper for about half an hour. I think I must have sucked it up off the bottom of the sump. I guess that's what filters are for.

Don't put off preventative maintenance!!

Wow , never saw anything that bad . Looks like someone got a little carried away with the silicone . You sure they didn't drop the whole tube in there ?

Quite remarkable. Have you had the unit since new? That would indicate it was "factory" work.

Yup, since new. Definitely factory. I'm not really worried, filter did it's job - just a little surprised. Dealer says while they don't see it very often, it's not terribly unusual.
