I agree with following the manual, but the problem is the manual. One page says to change the fuel filter at 50 hours, another page says it's not needed till 200 hours.If I had a new tractor like that, I would try to follow the maintenance schedule and keep maintenance records. But then again, I'm retired and have nothing much else to do with my time or money than to tinker around with stuff and try to look busy so my wife won't find me more useless things to do.![]()

The inside front cover page of my manual says to replace the fuel filter at the initial 50 hours.No, according to the manual you don't have to change it until I think 200hrs. I just did my 100hr service, and only cleaned the original filter out. It did need that.
