I recently ordered a set of rear chains from my dealer. I cut open the sack they came in and there was no manual included--just the chains. Any tips on how to install them on my 2230?

Go to www.tirechains.com where there are instructions for installing various types of tire chains.

Watch the clearance between the inside of the tires with the chains installed. You might need a spacer to get the appropriate distance from the chains to the fenders and other stuff. In the past, when I used to use chains, I would install the inside at the loosest possible position and then use shock cords as spreaders to take up the tension on the outside.

I am now running a 2200 with filled Ag tires and have not found the need for chains. Once the beast is in four wheel there is not too much that will cause wheel spin. I also run a weight box for blowing and or plowing.

Thanks. I just found this "link". Pun intended.
