Hi, nice post and nice picture.

Here's a post with the bucket hook I welded on. I think the C-channel as others have posted really stiffens up the top of the bucket.

There is no way I'm gonna bend the top of my bucket.

I used my Miller Bluestar 6000 DC stick welder with 7014 sticks (really really great sticks).

The DC and 7014 made the welding super easy.

Like the idea of the receiver on the prior post, I may add something like that in the future.

Also considering welding in small tabs to hook up my 8 foot fisher plow from the old Kioti Hauler plow truck.

I agree. The only downside compared to the traditional hooks only approach is that you have added about 50-60 lbs of steel to your bucket which cuts your lift capacity. I do like the receiver tubes though (I'd probably just put one in the middle to save weight;) ).
