I have one and works very well, I do not know the brand. as long as it is hyd dump you sould get along just fine.

Back about 12 or 15 years ago I had a mixer for my Ford 1910. I don't have the specs on it any more but I believe it was an Italian made 8 cubic foot model. It had a single acting hydraulic top link. This worked beautifully for one bag mixes. The hydraulic top link connected to the extra valve I had installed on the rear of the tractor. The only trouble was that when you dumped it the dump level was low to the ground. This was good for footings but I had to drive up onto a banking when I wanted to dump it into a wheelbarrow. If you are doing a number of footings or fence posts you just drive up to your aggregate pile, make your mix, then drive over and dump it. I would consider a 6 cubic foot mixer as the minimum. If you are using a 1-2-3 mixture and you want to use a full bag of portland cement you would be using 2 cubic feet of sand and 3 cubic feet of crushed stone. A bag of portland cement ( 94 pounds ) is one cubic foot. An 8 or 9 cubic foot mixer would probably be better.

I have one of the teagle spiromix units. It is designed like a large truck mounted mixer in which it has a spiral paddle in the drum and dumping is achieved by mechanically reversing the drum rotation by pulling a rope connected to a lever which switches a gear on the pto. It works pretty good and will dump into a wheelbarrow. My only complaint about the unit is it won't mix a stiff batch as it really tends to stick and won't unload, it needs to be fairly wet. It will mix about 15 shovels worth of gravel and whatever ratio of cement you'd want. I find too it helps to load most of the water first, then gravel, and cement last or else some gets stuck in the back side of the bottom of the spiral.
