The moto Android started as a hospital supplied and paid for phone… about 3 years in the hospital merged and I was told I can keep the phone but I would have to pay for a monthly service.
I found in side by side comparisons the 10 year old moto Android was better picking up wifi then a 10 year old Apple.
Plus the Android would let me view my picture attachments I posted at TBN where the apple 6s would not.
Google is telling me to log in on a device I have previously used on a network I have previously used because it’s not sure it’s me.
I’ve only ever used that Android device for Google so no longer possible.
My contact list of 10 years is where I’m feeling it most because I made detailed entries for service reps, machine model and serial numbers, start dates, alarm codes, etc.
The Android became my most used work tool and had accumulated many private or back door numbers such as the UPS and FedEx drivers, etc., company owners, managers and so on and distant relatives of mine.
Lesson learned…
The replacement Apple XR that was gifted doesn’t have the same wifi range or bars as the old moto Android… I could be in the steam boiler room with the Moto and make and receive texts but have to go outside with the Apple… as just one example.
I was very good at getting info to retired staff and docs through my extensive contact list… for many no way to do that now.
