Talked to my dealer friend yesterday, said they just finished up a machine with similar problems but only 300 hours. It turned out to be a bad turbocharger that was allowing oil to pollute the DPF in a very short time.

Also told me tractors are moving like hotcakes, sold 29 pieces of equipment (motorized, skid steers, excavators) in April, a record for them.

CK2610s are not being made or shipped and there aren't many to be had right now. The demand is high, entry level home gardener machines, tillers, you name it.

We also checked the turbo hoses for excess oil thinking that might be the problem. I pulled the upper hose off and sent photos of my hand after I wiped the inside of the hose and pictures of the hose to the dealer. It was wet but nothing serious. My tractor is really good on oil between changes. I have 53 hours on it now without a regeneration.

I have a huge problem with you being out cash for warranty repair. Not your responsibility to pay anyone anything for warranty repair!! Cost of doing business and justifying margins on sale of machines. Ridiculous process and I’ve never Heard Of it before your post!

Joel, I did not buy my tractor from my local dealer. I bought mine from another dealer as a leftover for a lot of $$$$ less than a new one.

I buy my cars certified preowned and have made numerous warranty claims without issue. Mercedes and Chevy and both repair with no questions whatsoever.

Absolutely right. That is why I will be going after them for my money.

Dealer #2 finally diagnosed the issue. Bad turbocharger, leaking oil. Covered under 5 year emission warranty (3 months remaining). Hopefully issue is solved when I get it back.

I'm glad to hear that they figured out your problem quickly. You didn't noticed your oil level was going down a bit. I just had my 2nd auto regeneration without any issues. It took 57 hours for this one to occur.

Jim, I am sure you were a little worried with it taking 57 hours between regeneration. I smile every time my tractor goes into a regen successfully.

I did at 55 hours and was going to do a manual regen at 60. It only took 20 minutes to run the regen while I mowed at 2500 rpms.
