well ok i got my sale sheet in my file cabinet its more like 95,000 cash money. its just what you wont i guess everyone has an opinion and it your money spend it how you please. i will stick with my 870 working 6 days a week trying to stay cought up. not trying to be a smart a@@ but the 299d WILL NOT HOLD UP IN THE WOODS WHERE i WORK.

I ran a 272c and it had perforated plate in the back door. It was thick and strong and wasn't about to give way to a tree branch.
I have been told that the Texas Hill Country is some of the roughest land to mulch on. I certainly see it that way and I've cleared in piney woods, S. Tx brush country, and bottom land. The hill country has a lot of dry brush that will knock out windows and lights or punch a hole in a hydraulic line. Rocks, rocks, rocks everywhere with sharp stumps from years of cedar choppers. Other than rubber tracks being the weak link in the limestone and on sharp stumps, I think the C series held up well other than some issues I had with the dust. If anything, the D series looks like it is beefed up even more. Only time will tell..

It might holdup but looking at the spec's with a 2400LB head and a 240lb operator. 9.1" of Ground Clearance and 6.5PSI it will be held up in the Mud
