hey guys watching the comments on skid steer loaders I recently bought a cat 247b track loader after having a Bobcat 753 wheel loader for 6 years and man does it make a difference the cat machine is a dream to operate, just so smooth and quick, where as my old bobcat was a good machine but after a days work you really knew you'd been in a machine all day,now no sore back or knees but the price you pay is the cost of the tracks, you can buy a lot of tyres the price of a set of tracks ,I was told to allow $4 per hour for tracks, but if your going to spend any lenght of time in the machine the cat is the way to go and i did run an asv machine on a few jobs the cat is the better machine.
