Interesting mochine ... if anybody has any info and has nothing else to do, I'd appreciate any comments:
Ad found in local American Classifid's:
Case 610B w/5' disc $1800.
What I gleened from the net:
"Utility" tractor, 4 cyl gas, Case-O-Matic (4sp/2 range~some kind of no-cluth shifting) trans, adj rear wheel spacing, non-adj front wheels (but not a "tricycle), Eagle hitch, independant PTO.
Commentary from owner (via phone~I have not seen the tractor):
Foot throttle, new radiator, new water pump, new rear tires 5 years ago, 1958 vintage, swinging drawbar, [at least] 1 rear remote port, has shop manuals, has owned for 20 years, has some kind of evidence of a previous FEL, front tires have been changed to automible type, 12v sys, generator rebuilt some time ago but does not charge, brakes "work" both for steering and stopping but will not "lock-up wheels", has fluid leaks "as an old tractor would".
So, I'm comfortable with my experience with old iron, buying used stuff, etc, et al, yada. I'm just wondering if anyone has any impressions from experience and/or website links for more 'real' info ... ya know, along that line.
