Case 310G crawler loader price?

Good morning to everyone, first time post. I知 looking at what I believe to be a Case 310G crawler with a 4 in 1 bucket, scarfing bar and diesel engine. Owner is asking 5K as is. My plan is to use it for basic grading of stone driveways, trail maintenance and logging pine and cedar trees of our personal properties. This will be my first tracked vehicle, so any input and/or advice is much appreciated and welcome.
Of course, the owner says it runs great and hasn稚 had any breakdowns or problems. I知 going this morning to see/hear it run and inspect the undercarriage with what knowledge I have.
I have almost unlimited access to repair and maintenance tools, along with my dad has prior heavy equipment experience and is a retired mechanic. Looking forward to your comments and concerns, thanks!

I bought my first crawler, JD 430C, at an auction with my Dad and both of us were ignorant when it came to dozers so of course, there were many items in need of $$$. I never used the machine and amazingly sold it online, sighT unseen to a JD collector who was happier than a pig in sh**.

Sounds like you have most everything covered better than any advice you are looking for here other than having your dad go along with you to inspect the machine before making the purchase.
