I walked past one of my 4X4 DIY wood block traps,, and heard buzzing,,
The "No Vacancy" neon light was flashing,,

It was hanging on the aluminum foil that was stuffed in the bottle,,
I use plastic soda bottles, instead of Mason jars.

We’re using a mix of 50% vinegar and 50% water in a sprayer and that seems to have almost gotten rid of the carpenter bees. However, you have to spray it at least every two weeks.
